Worst Week

The show focuses on Sam Briggs (Kyle Bornheimer), who tends to attract trouble. His luck is worse than that of anyone else, and bad things happen to him in rapid succession. He's in love with, but not yet married to, Melanie Clayton (Erinn Hayes), and the two are expecting a child. Breaking the news to her parents Angela (Nancy Lenehan) and Dick (Kurtwood Smith) is only one dilemma they face in early episodes.

8 Simple Rules (for dating my teenage daughters)

The rules are:

  1. Use your hands on my daughter and you'll lose them after.
  2. You make her cry, I make you cry.
  3. Safe sex is a myth. Anything you try will be hazardous to your health.
  4. Bring her home late, there's no next date.
  5. Only delivery men honk. Dates ring the doorbell. Once.
  6. No complaining while you're waiting for her. If you're bored, change my oil.
  7. If your pants hang off your hips, I'll gladly secure them with my staple gun.
  8. Dates must be in crowded public places. You want romance? Read a book.

Synopsis

8 Simple Rules is about a married couple with three children, set in a Detroit, Michigan suburb. The father, Paul Hennessy (John Ritter), is a sportswriter who is prompted by his wife Cate's (Katey Sagal) return to nursing to take a more active role in raising their two teenage daughters, Bridget (Kaley Cuoco), and Kerry (Amy Davidson), and their son Rory (Martin Spanjers). He is soon overwhelmed by the responsibility of being the father of teenage daughters and misses being a sports writer. Paul begins writing a column from home about his struggles with his children and offers advice to people who are in his same position. His teenage daughters are dating, which sparks the use of the "8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughter". The show, created by veteran comedy writer Tracy Gamble, derives its name and some of its elements from W. Bruce Cameron's book 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter

Look for a Star

Yau lung hei fung (Look for a star)

"Happiness was once a crystal ball,
but it was shattered as it fell to the ground.
The broken pieces showered on everyone,
and people began to pick them up.
Some collected more,
others found less."

A very good and romantic movie (in my opinion) and very recommended.

Synopsis
Sam (Andy Lau) is the most eligible bachelor in town - he’s young, smart and rich. However, every success has its price. Sam has already divorced three times and finds himself crawling back to the game of love sooner than he has expected. It is love at first sight when Sam chances upon Milan (Shu Qi) at a Macau casino. She is a part-time poker dealer and a full-time cabaret dancer, seemingly not the perfect match with Sam’s life. While Milan is being groomed into a society woman by experts galore, Sam is starting to have cold feet. He takes his lawyer’s advice and signs a prenuptial agreement without consulting Milan. This time, he is gravely mistaken, as this woman has a heart of gold and is looking for real love rather than fame and fortune.
